About: Cardiac surgery / Cardiac High Dependency Unit Cardiac surgery / Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Cardiac surgery / Cardiac Theatres Outpatients Services / Level 7 Outpatients

(as a service user),

I would like to commend all the staff in 7a outpatients Royal Victoria hospital.

I have had 3 visits one to see cardiac surgeon to discuss aortic valve surgery, one to the pre-assessment nurse Jenny and the third to the clinic review.

I must stay all staff from reception staff nursing staff and medical staff were very polite friendly and very professional. The atmosphere in the clinic was peaceful but happy even though some patients were obviously quite ill.

My whole experience from first outpatient to my surgical experience in ward 5, ICU and HDU was excellent and I would like to say a big thank you to everyone for a very good experience in what was a major surgery.

They were all very informative and kept me updated and reassured throughout my journey

Firstly I am glad you have had the best experience and care during what is a very stressful and frightening time.
