"Ensured she understood everything"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Blossom Ward (Paediatrics) Enhanced Care / GP out of hours

(as a parent/guardian),

Our daughter had to attend Daisy Hill Hospital for an assessment after speaking to the GP out of hours.

After attending Daisy Hill, we were advised she needed surgery. We then took her to Craigavon Area Hospital.

Under the care of Miss Jones, Dr.Mohi, the registrar, conducted the surgery in as swift as possible manner. He then spoke to my husband and I at length for reassurance immediately after the surgery.

The children's Blossom ward identified she had an infection that required post-operative antibiotics managed as an outpatient.

She had to get the post operative antibiotics, which was managed swiftly and competently by Dr. Isim.

The nursing staff were outstanding both on Band 5 and Band 6.

Exceptionally, the parent facilities were outstanding.

The care is outstanding in terms of child involvement, person centred care and they went to great lengths to ensure she understood everything that was said.

Many thanks.
