"I felt confident in their knowledge"

About: Community Services (Adult Physical Health) / Tissue Viability and Lymphoedema Service

(as a service user),

I had expected to have my legs bound but it wasn’t possible so instead resorted to wraps but it wasn’t any job for the nurses to secure wrap in place.

I felt confident in their knowledge and was relieved when wrap secured and I was able to get my shoe on

So far I have been able to tolerate the wrap so am waiting now for other leg to be treated in the same way, hopefully with result that swelling will reduce in both legs and I can get back to wearing compression stockings

Thank you so much for this response. It is essential we receive feedback for our service.

It is essential we deliver individualised care and this feedback reflects this. Hopefully it will not been long before you are back into your stocking.

Thanks

Michaela Delahunty

Clinical Lead TVALS
