"Rehabilitation"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Assessment and Rehab Centre

(as a service user),

I was offered gym rehabilitation because I'm suffering from fatigue after all the cancer treatment which would be great but came with an hourly fee I could ill afford - so no rehabilitation for me.

I don't recall ever having to pay for rehabilitation after an illness, I thought this was covered by all the years you paid contributions. Cancer patients need rehabilitation and help with recovery, I don't know why the NHS are not providing rehabilitation for cancer patients?

Good morning VARob,

Thank you for providing feedback regarding the rehabilitation you were offered, I am saddened to read that what has been offered does not meet expectations.

I am keen to understand more around this situation and wonder if you could possibly contact me via email at lynnette.marshall2@nhs.scot to provide more information.

Kind regards,

Lynnette
