"Excellent care given"

About: Angus Community Treatment and Care Centres (CTACS) / CTACS - Brechin Health Centre

(as a parent/guardian),

Attended with my teenage daughter for bloods. To say my daughter was nervous would be an understatement! It’s an effort to get her to appointments at the best of times due to her ADHD.

The way Julie, our nurse, was with my daughter was overwhelming. No rush or pressure and spoke with my daughter to put her at ease.

Two minutes later bloods were done and daughter said she didn’t even feel the needle going it.

Excellent care given and very appreciative of how my daughter was treated.

Dear aprilps78,

Thank you very much for taking the time to post your story on Care Opinion. We really appreciate any feedback we receive.

I am so glad to hear that Julie was able to put your daughter at ease as giving blood can be very daunting. We pride ourselves on providing a person centred approach to all individuals we see and it sounds like Julie was able to do this for your daughter.

I will be sure to pass on your kind words to Julie.

Kind regards

Donna
