"Can't praise her highly enough"

About: Rutherglen & Cambuslang Locality Support Service / ICST (Community Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy) Rutherglen & Cambuslang

(as a service user),

Clare is a Physio and has been supporting me for the last 8 weeks. She made herself very helpful and asked questions. She wanted to see how I would manage the stairs . She suggested I leave a walking stick at the top of the stairs which I found very helpful. She took me out to walk and was never in a hurry. She seemed to enjoy visiting me. She can't treat me any further at the moment as I'm waiting on a new hip and knee replacement. The surgeon has said there should be a reduction in the pain, so I'll need to wait and see.

Clare has been very very helpful, nothing has been a bother to her. She's warned me to keep up with my exercises, as they'll help me. I'll get help with rehab after the operation and I hope I get Clare. She's so friendly and helpful. I can't praise her highly enough. She did everything and more. She's very kind and made me feel at ease. She got me into the swing of things and I looked forward to the Fridays she came. She' made a big difference.

Dear Aquariusms59

Thank you for this lovely feedback which I will pass on to Claire and to management, as well as the rest of the ICST team. It is so good to hear that you have found her assessment and treatment to be enjoyable as well as helpful. I am glad you have found a big difference in the 8 weeks of your rehabilitation with Claire.

Your description of Claire's care shows excellent patient-centredness which is what we strive for. She will be very pleased to know that you are happy with her care. We wish you all the best for your coming joint replacement surgeries and rehabilitation and look forward to helping you again with your recovery journey.

Kind regards,

Tracey
