My mother was sent to Stoke Mandeville to see a cardiologist, who was very nice and helpful. They requested she have further blood tests at the hospital to confirm a medication.
However, trying to get through to the phone number she was given was a waste of time and the recorded message detailing the email address to book the blood test was read out so quickly she couldn't make it out.
I took over for her as she was getting very stressed and the recorded message was laugh out loud ridiculous at the speed it was said. What a waste of time for people calling in and a waste of time for the hospital leaving patients even more confused as what to do.
Please make this messages clearer, easy for the elderly or in fact anyone to understand to avoid a load more people calling in the on switchboard and clogging up your system.
