"There isn't anything I would change"

About: Justice Teams / East Kilbride Justice Team

(as a service user),

I was on a Community Payback Order for 3 years.

During the Order, the difficult parts of my life I got great support from my Social Worker. They explained the steps going forward at the beginning - to make clear my understanding easier going forward in the process, and goals for myself to make.

I completed 1:1 work relating to my offence. This was very hard at times but helped me learn new coping strategies. These were useful in day to day life in general and not just about offending. This helped me with confidence going forward in life.

There isn't anything i would change and i felt it benefitted me. Having someone to talk to was helpful.
