I would just like to say a big thank you to the team and midwifes at inverclyde Royal hospital especially Laura and Michelle. I went into pre term labour (3 weeks early ) with my first child early May and the care me and my family got was 2nd to none.
I'm a very anxious person and don't like asking for help or bothering anyone but they made me feel soo safe and secure especially Laura who helped guide me through my pregnancy and eventually helped deliver my beautiful baby boy. I originally was planned to give birth in Paisley Royal Alexandria but I'm glad I had him in Inverclyde the team are so attentive and caring and knowledgable it really enabled me to put my trust in them.
Everything happened so fast i didnt even make it to the birthing room, nobody could keep up but the team worked amazing and managed to deliver my boy with no issues to him whatsoever. The aftercare for me, my baby and family was honestly more than I could have ever hoped for. Michelle helped give him his first bottle and made sure everyone was looked after and informed on what was happening with the aftercare, I was still in shock from the quick labour and didn't get to fully appreciate what they did for us but from what I've been told I'm glad I was with them.
I have nothing but praise for the team at IRH and wish more people would put there trust in them and have their wonderful bundles of joy there, from the sonogrophars and midwifes down to the cleaning and reception staff everyone is amazing at what they do. Please consider going here and giving the team a chance they really are a joy to be around. Again thank you to Laura, I don't think could have managed it without you. Such a superstar and she's definitely in the right job!
