"I could go for more than 1000 words thanking everyone"

About: South Tyneside District Hospital / Accident and emergency The Royal Victoria Infirmary / Neurology

(as a service user),

So I came in last week with a tumour on my brain, the staff at south Tyneside A&E were all amazing and very supportive of me and my wife during the time of the diagnosis. I was then taken too the RVI Nuro science ward (15 & 18)

All of the staff have been amazing, funny, supportive, informative and knowledgable. I give everyone my heartfelt thanks and gratitude for helping me get through this time and on the road to recovery.

I’d like to say a special thanks to Wendy and Darren on ward 15. They have honestly made the time so much easier and I looked forward to seeing them every morning. Always smiling, always laughing. Always positive.

I also spent some time in ward 18 after my surgery. I was being looked after by Hazel who made my recovery so much better, she is so full of energy it really helped.

I could go on for more than 1000 words trying to thank everyone that has made this time in hospital more enjoyable.
