About: The Church Street Practice

On two occasions in the last two weeks I’ve filled in online forms for a GP to contact me regarding severe facial neuralgia pain, vomiting and swelling. On these two occasions the reply from the surgery was about something totally different to my request. Nothing gets read correctly and this is why you should be able to talk to a human being and not fill in something online. Why can’t patients have triage calls like every other surgery. I’m now left again with nothing being dealt with and having to wait for another text reply as the surgery does not allow phone calls - how ridiculous and dangerous is this, especially for the elderly patients.

Dear Mrs Greaves

I am sorry we are unhappy with the service you have received from Church Street Surgery. I have spoken with the doctor with whom you have consulted and she has confirmed she has referred you to the appropriate department and "ENT" in the response to you was a typing error for which she apologises. I have reviewed you records and can confirm this and can also confirm she has booked you a call with one of the senior partners for today.

Kind Regards

Sally Hookes
