"World class care"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Surgical Elective Unit

(as the patient),

From the moment I arrived for my surgery until the moment I left I received world class care.

I met nurses, doctors, the anaesthetist, the surgeon, trainee nurses and porters. Every single one was professional, caring and friendly. I cannot speak highly enough of these people and the fantastic work they do. I was treated with respect and dignity the whole time.

Some of the names I remember are Christina, Cara, Bernadette, Jamie-Lee, Dr Khan, a lovely nurse in the recovery room, a lovely nurse who looked after me during the night. There were others but I can’t remember the names, sorry. Also Annette the discharge nurse was fantastic.

The overall service provided was 5 star. I could not have received any better treatment anywhere else in the world. Thank you all so much for great care and a wonderful experience.
