I recently had a surgical procedure carried out by Mr McMurrich at Stracathro Surgical unit Ward 10. From the moment I arrived for my surgery the levels of care and compassion shown to me and other patients on the ward was exemplary. I was anxious about the GA and the procedure but everything was explained to me in terms I could understand no medical jargon.
Staff on the ward were amazing and as I walked in to theatre I was looked after by the most amazing anaesthetic team before and after my operation. Never has an apple juice and an egg mayo sandwich been so welcome after a long day. There is often a lot of bad press regarding healthcare provision but I have to say I felt safe and looked after under this teams care.
Please pass my heartfelt thanks on to the whole team from the meet and greet receptionist, the physio team, the nurses, the anaesthetic team, Mr McMurrich and even the lovely domestic staff who stopped by for a chat. A wonderful team thank you all.
