"I felt heard and in safe hands"

About: Community Services - North Devon / Dental

(as a service user),

I had 2 wisdom teeth removed under local anaesthetic. Prior to the surgery I was very nervous and was not sure I would be able to go through the procedure whilst awake. However during the consultation everything was explained to me with transparency and consideration. I felt heard and in safe hands and decided to go through with it under local anaesthetic.

I am so grateful to Mr Watts the Oral Surgeon, and the two nurses Jess and Lucy for their care and professionalism and for supporting me through the experience. They really went above and beyond. Needless to say I am so glad it’s over and those teeth are finally gone.

Thank you.

Dear Wisdomteethgone!

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback on your recent appointments with us. I will share this with the team. Mark Watts always aims to give a comprehensive explaination of what to expect and will be particularly pleased to hear that you found this reassuring enough to help with your anxiety. I'm glad you felt well supported through the treatment and hope your recovery has been uneventful.
