Hi. I wanted to find some avenue to express my gratitude and heartfelt appreciation for the excellent service provision I received from this small Island hospital. Following a rescue by Arran MRT off a local mountain ridge with a suspected broken leg, I was transferred to the War Memorial Hospital by two wonderful, friendly paramedics.
Some of the healthcare professionals who work here are also volunteers with the MRT. I can only say that the service and care I received was 10/10 and no exaggeration. The staff went above and beyond to facilitate a good care regime, going above and beyond to, for example stay beyond their duty hours to ensure my broken leg was packaged neatly and correctly. I was given high quality care in a single ward, with friendly informative and attentive staff. My anxieties were reduced to a minimum. In no particular order and apologies for missing anyone out, I would like to thank:- Dr GawDr TristanNurses Anna, Ally, Suzanne, Erica,Neil who packaged up my leg in plaster, the radiologist (Donna?) and all the other individuals I had the pleasure of meeting. It was so refreshing to witness a friendly and professional team of individuals. If only all healthcare stories could be like this.
"A friendly and professional team of individuals"
