"Son's visit to A&E due to knee dislocation"

About: Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

When arrived outside A&E my partner spoke to a paramedic asking for help to get son out of car. This resulted in my son receiving gas&air whilst in the car. One tried to manipulate knee back, however did not manage, 2nd was successful. This meant son was transferred from car to wheelchair more easily.

Nurse Vicky was great at explaining everything to my son and myself whilst also providing reassurance to my son. Thank you Vicky and both paramedics.

Hello Hals,

Many thanks for your feedback, I am glad your son received good care out with the Emergency Department. I will try to find the paramedics involved in his care to advise them of your appreciation and will pass on your thanks to Vicky for her reassurance.

I hope your son is recovering well and not in too much discomfort today.

Many thanks again,

Lauren
