"Speciality Physio at Blantyre Life with Fiona and Harris"

About: Adult Health & Support Services / Physiotherapy

(as the patient),

I was asked along after suffering knee and hip pain due to osteoarthritis and was offered a management course to relieve pain and go forward .I have tried to manage my pain not keen on painkillers but spent my time worrying about journeys and coping with everyday life

I’ve just completed a 3week course twice a week and have come away with lots of confidence for my future .l have spent money over the last 3 years with private physio and lots of different remedies with little success .

Fiona taught me to do the exercises correctly no one has ever done a one to one with all exercises what a difference I have found a great improvement

Harris taught me how to manage pain by exercise and relaxation ,breathing etc

My frame of mind is more positive my balance and sleep have improved

I am very grateful to them and shall be happy to carry on with all that I have taken from this wonderful opportunity.

Hello Skygg66,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm delighted to hear that, after a few challenging years with your knees, the Escape Pain knee class has been so beneficial for you. It's wonderful to know that you're now feeling more confident and capable in managing your symptoms. I’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to Fiona and Harris—they’ll be so pleased to hear this.

Wishing you continued success with your recovery.

Best regards,

Alison
