"Excellent care"

About: Inverclyde Royal Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I attended the A&E at IRH Greenock and was passed through to the MAU.

The team done various tests  and after a couple of hours concluded I had had a heart failure

They administered medication and called be back the next day for further tests

On completion of these tests and blood results they prescribed medication  and advised to see a cardiologist.

I have seen a cardiologist and he said they done all the right things to get me through the initial trauma. I am now on blood thinners for an Atrial flutter and await the procedure to get my heart rhythm corrected.

I can’t thank the team - Dr Reid, Claire, Catherine and Emily -  enough for all their help and attention.
