I've been suffering from acute pain for many years and although I've athritis in both legs, as well as an arm injury it was suggested I try physio before any more radical surgery was attempted.
I've been working with my therapist for a few months now and she's been utterly brilliant. She's listened and adapted her exercises to meet my needs, and, although the pain hasn't completely gone, it has been reduced significantly, enabling me to attempt more, for longer. I also suffer from a number of mental health issues and during the hospital visits my therapist has been so helpful and kind in adapting the sessions to accomodate these restrictions, and all with good humour.
I really couldn't have asked for better care. My treatment is coming to an end but I feel as though I've the right tools to manage my condition and I have an offer to review progress at a later date.
