"Awful practice"

About: Dishley Grange Medical Practice

I have never in my life been with such an awful practice with ridiculous processes and I have been registered with a few different surgeries. I recently moved to the area and registered 2 months ago. On my registration form I filled out my repeat meds and also stated which pharmacy I would like to nominate. I called 2 days ago to order my repeat as it would not let me do so on the app. I was put through to some random call centre in India who were no help whatsoever. I was told to physically go to the surgery to order my repeat (I work in primary care pharmacy, so I know that this does not need to be the case). I went to order my meds at reception that same day. I then noticed on my NHS app that my meds have been sent to my old pharmacy in another city. I called the surgery back and again put through to this useless call centre. I asked for my pharmacy to be changed to which I was told that I need to contact my old pharmacy to ask them to change it? Again due to my job, I know that my pharmacy can simply be changed on my record and the script can be re-directed. I also stated my nominated pharmacy on my registration form so why was this not changed on my record?

I was also sent a questionnaire to review my meds which I completed but my meds have still not been added to my repeat? What was the point of the questionnaire review?

Completely ridiculous process and the registration process needs to be more streamline to prevent things like this happening. This call centre that takes calls is also ridiculous as they can't actually do anything on your record and just tell you to physically go to reception.
