"Care with kindness and expertise"

 I cannot speak highly enough about my recent experience with the Department of Oral Surgery at Lauriston Place. I was referred about a year ago due to complications with my wisdom teeth, and from the very first appointment, I felt in exceptionally good hands.

My initial consultation was with Eilidh, who was incredibly thorough, not just in assessing the problem tooth, but in evaluating all of my wisdom teeth. Her attention to detail immediately put me at ease and gave me confidence in the level of care I would receive.

Following some scans, I had a video consultation with Vicki, who was absolutely outstanding. The consultation never felt rushed; Vicki took the time to walk me through all of my options with clarity and patience, answering every question I had. She also offered to keep me under her care going forward, which I greatly appreciated for the sake of continuity. The video platform itself was also excellent, convenient and easy to use, allowing me to attend the appointment from work.

The actual extraction, performed by Vicki with assistance from Keith, was seamless. Although I was feeling a little anxious beforehand, both Vicki and Keith made me feel thoroughly supported and cared for throughout the procedure.

From start to finish, the quality of care I received was exceptional. I’m truly grateful for the professionalism, kindness, and expertise of the entire oral surgery team.
