"I give their service a perfect 100%"

I recently had my L hand carpal tunnel operation performed by nurse specialist Robin at Musgrave Park. He performed my R hand earlier in year. I can do nothing but offer massive praise about Robin and his theatre team and the nurses pre and post procedure. They all made me feel at ease, talked me through every step of the op and in even greater detail my post care plan. One of the theatre team even held my other hand during the procedure which was very easing and comforting. We were chatting and laughing and it distracted me that I didn’t even feel the injection for local anaesthetic. 

I wish every hospital procedure / visit was like this experience , as I have some complex medical conditions and Robin and the team should be ambassadors for how to communicate and care for a patient with a smile and happy approach. 

From me I give their service a perfect 100%. 

It was great that a nurse specialist could do my procedure as I know I would have up to 4 years for my consultant to do it. 

Hopefully patients become more confident in the nurse specialists and if they can do the procedure equally to a doctor then it would definitely lower waiting times
