"I have a stroke and was request to get my heart checked"

I received a late appointment 18.50 which was amazing due to recent stroke I am unable to drive, this time allowed me to organise a lift with family members having to take time off work.

When I arrived I was meet with Paul who straight away put my mind at rest he was funny and generally a nice man who make me feel relaxed.

As it was my heart that was being checked over I was asked to completely undress from waist up but with Paul he had already make me feel relaxed so this was not as uncomfortable as I could have been.

During the scan he allowed me to watch it on screen which was very amazing to see my heart in that manner, he was also very informative and allowed me to ask any questions that I had (he also allowed my husband to join in the appointment and allowed him to see the scan being done as well).

Paul was very quick witted and truthfully that one the best relaxing experience.

I felt I was treated as a person that was involved in this scan not just a number or tick sheet.

Due to recent stroke I have had to attend a range of appointments scans ect and I can honestly say that this appointment was the best one I have experienced and that was down to Paul and his manners and personality (he is definitely in the correct profession and only if everyone was the same all appointments would a great experience) man deserves a medal 🏅
