"Appointment at the Seamoor unit"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Chemotherapy and Day Treatment Unit

(as a relative),

My mum had an appointment at the Seamoor unit at North Devon hospital. I went with her and our appointment was with Pippa. Pippa was warm, friendly, patient and thorough in dealing with my mum. She was welcoming and very supportive during our appointment. She clearly explained the plan going forward and arranged for a scan appointment to be made.

The only difficulty was the carpark was full. I realise that isn't an easy problem to solve but it did mean we were slightly late for the appointment.

Dear 79Dd,

Good afternoon and thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback in regards to your Mum's appointment today.

My apologies that you had difficulties in parking today and this is an area that the Trust are always reviewing and looking at, but this will not have helped you today.

It will give me great pleasure in feeding back to Pippa how she made you and your Mum feel today and this is paramount that you have a positive experience when you are on this type of journey.

I wish your Mum well during her plan going forward.

Best wishes,

Lisa
