"Always an awful experience."

About: Thatcham Health Centre

Though most of the doctors, nurses and staff are very friendly, this practise needs knocking down and rebuilding in a metaphorical sense.

Phoned to book an appointment, the admin actually said "wow, you don't come here very often" to which I replied, "It normally takes so long to get an appointment that I'm either better or ill be dead". She laughed and then booked me a telephone appointment in 3 weeks! 😂

Seriously though it's actually frightening, or illustrious council area continuing to override planning agreements to build more housing estates in thatcham, and none of them have medical or education services. If it takes me 3 weeks to get a telephone appointment, 6 months to get someone to approve me needing an ultrasound, what on earth will it be like with another 2000 people living here. We need another surgery or this one needs a serious upgrade/extension.
