Following excellent procedure from my Doctors at Hednesford Medical Practice I was referred to Royal Wolverhampton NHS Orthopaedic at Cannock Hospital for a cyst growth on the first joint of my middle right hand finger and following a consultation with Mr Chikkalur today I went to the Hollybank outpatients ward at Cannock Hospital where Mr Chikkalur and his staff performed a successful minor procedure.
To say that I was gobsmacked is an understatement as I was not expecting a full blown theatre operation. This year I will turn 70 years of age and this is my first ever such experience and I cannot speak highly enough of each and every staff member I came into contact with and must have been between 15 and 20 most dedicated professional specialist in there own role. The service provided by each and every one was second to non and a most invigorating experience and I for one am very proud of our NHS.
