(as the patient),

I suffer from PPMS and prone to falls.

This time I fell directly on my knees so unfortunately as I also suffer from Lymphedema on my left leg. Hitting so hard the floor my left knee practically exploded. I was really worried that I had also damaged my knee cap but fortunately no. The knee needed stitches.

At home I was followed up by the district nurses.

I was treated professionally by Emma's team but at the same time so friendly and put at ease.

The day I had to get stitches out Iet Asleigh who was brilliant and so calming and at times managed to make me laugh while taking out stitches.

I would like to thank them all and knowing if in need they are always a call away. Their supervisor should be proud of them all.

Thankyou for taking the time to provide feedback about the care you received from our District Nursing Team. I am so sorry to hear about your recent fall, it sounds as though you have been through a really difficult time. We are extremely proud of our District Nursing teams here in East Kilbride, Its so good to hear about how supportive the team have been and how Ashleigh was able to make you feel at ease when having your sutures removed.

I will pass your kind words onto Emma and Ashleigh to share with the team. I know they will be delighted.
