"Physiotherapy in Grove outpatients."

About: Grove Wellbeing and Treatment Centre / Physiotherapy MSK Outpatients Department

(as a service user),

I have had  problems with back pain and sciatica for one year. I have attended a private physiotherapist who suggested I do Pilates but never examined my back. I did Pilates for three months which made no difference. I then seen a private back surgeon who suggested an MRI scan which identified a cyst which was injected with steroid which helped the sciatic pain I was experiencing but I continued to have lower back pain. I self referred to NHS physio and met Conor in the Grove physio dept. He has helped me tremendously doing massage work and my back pain is significantly reduced. He worked hard at each appointment to release the tension in the muscle. He has great knowledge about medication being used to treat back pain and gave me very useful advice. He has a quiet reassuring manner which is very helpful when you have chronic pain and worry things will never get better. He has referred me to pain management which I’m waiting on. Overall he has helped me tremendously and significantly reduced my pain. I cannot praise him highly enough.
