I tripped over my Irish Setter dog damaged my artificial hip relacement and boke a substantial piece of my femur. The surgeon repaired my hip and replaced the broken piece of bone from my femur. He then installed a titanium plate from top to bottom of my femur which was secured to my femur with fourteen screws and nine cables.

The surgeon was fantastic, the Royal Alexandria Hospital was an absolute  credit to the NHS.

The fracture clinic in the Vale of Leven Hospital were second to none and were also a credit to the NHS.

To summarise I am walking normally again without pain. Thank you all so very much for the care and attention to everybody involved in my recovery .

Dear bonanzatn45

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback regarding your recent care in RAH and VOL.

It is re-assuring to know that you had a positive experience, even though you have had a traumatic injury.

I will be sure to pass on your feedback to the staff in both RAH and VOL, who will be delighted to know that their hard work has been recognised.

Glad to hear that you are back on your feet again.

Regards

Susan
