"The support has helped me feel better"

About: Staffordshire Treatment and Recovery Service - STARS / Young People (T3)

(as a service user),

I was reffed to t3 for my support of my mum's drinking. Me and mum would get into arguments which would effect my confidence  and self esteem. Danielle has helped me to understand alcohol and how it effects you, I have a safety plan in place and know what I need to do if I need to get out of a situation. The support has helped me feel better as I know I know what to do in any future situations. Thank you

Hi I am Liz the manager for T3 thank you for taking the time to send your feedback which will be shared with Danielle and the team.

It is lovely to hear the support has made you feel better and that you have a clearer understanding of how alcohol can affect you and have a safety plan in place.

You should feel proud of yourself for engaging in the support and I hope the work has also helped you to feel more confident and improved your self esteem.

I wish you happiness for the future and hope you now have a better relationship with your Mum.
