"Very helpful, kind and patient"

About: Inverclyde Royal Hospital / Medical Receiving Ward (J North)

(as the patient),

I was taken to the hospital with a suspected pneumothorax.

When diagnosed with a spontaneous pneumothorax, Dr Reid in the IHR medical assessment unit, was very helpful, kind and patient. He answered all my questions professionally and reassured any worries I had.

I am delighted to hear that you felt at ease during your admission and that the MAU team were able to answer all of your questions. I hope you are recovering well and that there was nothing too serious.
