"Professional but upbeat and confident"

About: St John's Hospital / Medical Day Unit Western General Hospital / Gastroenterology Outpatients

(as a service user),

Living with Colitis is a terrible chronic illness but I am fortunate enough to now, thanks to the NHS and my consultant, be on an infusion that is keeping my symptoms at bay.  It was not an easy journey but my consultants persistence, empathy and support has got me in a place where life is worth living again.

I also enjoy my regular visit for my infusion, the team in the medical day unit are professional but upbeat and confident - shout out to David, Gillian and Claire

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. I am glad to hear that you are gaining such positive benefits from the infusions you have been receiving within the medical day unit. David and the team take great pride in being skilled practitioners and consistently show great compassion in their care delivery. I will ensure this feedback is passed on. Best wishes!
