Timeline of events

I get a letter out for a follow up appointment as expected so I request to rearrange it. 

I miss a call from a private number (I don't answer private numbers and I have stated this previously.) Voicemail from gynaecology asking me to rearrange it. I already have requested this so surely all they need to so is send a letter out?

A few days later I get a text about an appointment reminder for the very appointment I requested to rearrange. So I once again go to request a different appointment.

Today I miss another call from a private number (It's gynaecology again asking if I can rearrange my appointment.) Sorry, is it groundhog day?

I get home and my husband tells me he had a call from gynaecology asking if I could make the day originally offered for an appointment. Well the answer is no as I've already rearranged this multiple times.

I will propose a solution. Don't offer me the same date again as I clearly cannot make it. Offer it to someone else who needs one and can possibly do this date. Send me another letter with a proposal of another date and I shall respond ASAP with an arrangement.
