I have always sung the praises of this practice even when I have had to wait on numerous occasions for my appointment due to them running late because the doctors have always (other than one who has now left the practice) been great. When others have moaned they can't get appointments for weeks I have raved about the fact I could telephone and get an appointment thay day or the next because of the great system here. Apparently, that has all changed now and you can only book online. This would be fine except you put in your symptoms and it tries to work out what it could be...unsuccessfully!!!
I suffer with endometriosis (something the online system fails to recognise) and today I am in a lot of pain and some other symptoms I won't add on here...however the online system doesn't recognise this so I rang and spoke to a receptionist and explained this. The receptionist told me they are not allowed to book so to just pick tummy pain. I did and once I had answered all the questions that were not even relevant it gave me appointments in a week's time (helpful). I am assuming that GP practices are just pushing everyone towards 111 or A & E who are usually short staffed and over run.
Well I won't be singing the praises of this practice anymore if this is now what happens. I know this is what most GPs are like now but not being like this was what made Musters Medical Practice stand out as being better than others...this is such a shame.
