My adult son has been a patient in Wd 64 in the Institute of Neurological Sciences in Queen Elizabeth Hospital Glasgow on and off for the past three and a half years. He has had many surgeries relating to a brain tumour and subsequent complications. His most recent admission was for treatment and surgery for a brain abscess
The staff in Wd 64 are outstanding, everything you would hope the NHS to be. Over the years they have treated our son and our family with the utmost care ,respect and kindness during some very dark days. We feel very safe in their hands.
Even though it is a very busy ward they always find time for a friendly chat and deal with everything in a professional manner
We are forever in their debt.
"We feel very safe in their hands"
