"A recent hearing test"

About: Kings Cross Health and Community Care Centre / Audiology Service

(as a service user),

I felt that I was treated like a second rate citizen when I attended a hearing test. The member of staff who carried out the test met me at reception and proceeded to walk away ahead of me to their room, got to their room and told me in one word to sit. I was looking around for the dog they were talking to. The whole interview and test went the same way and I found their attitude was terrible, to be polite. I have another appointment set, to which I will not attend and I will go private from here on in.

Thank you

I am so sorry that this was your experience with Audiology.

Are you able to email me directly on laura.turton@nhs.scot so I can find out more information and investigate this? This is so far away from the service we aim to deliver and I want to assure you not only that it will not happen to you again but will also not occur to other patients.
