"My birth"

I had my baby boy in Peterhead maternity ward. I had planned to have my baby here all along and i had planned to have a pool birth which all went as planned. The staff on shift the night i had my boy were second to none. I really feel they made the birth of my boy such a positive experience. From the time I phoned in to coming in they had the room set up and pool ready waiting for me. I had lots of reassurance throughout my labour and lots of positive energy from the staff. The aftercare was amazing too. Never felt pressured to leave the unit and the staff kept checking In on me and baby and never did I feel like anything was too much. I had a considerable amount of visitors on day two and was never made to feel like any of them had to leave or they weren't welcome. Honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Would highly recommend planning on having your baby here. Real sense of a community feel. Such a positive experience. Thank you ladies.
