"Patient centred care"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Haematology

(as a relative),

My mum attends Clinic P at the new Victoria Hospital. I went with her recently and as a nurse I was blown away by the patient care. The receptionist knew all the patients' names, the nurses and doctor were so professional and the volunteer made sure everyone was offered tea. If you had to define patient centred care it would be this clinic. A great team who care and show care and professionalism.

Dear Eliz A

Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience of attending Clinic P in the New Victoria Hospital.

It’s especially meaningful to receive such positive feedback from someone with a nursing background—you understand the importance of truly patient-centred care. We’re delighted to hear that every member of the team, from the receptionist and volunteer to the nurses and doctor, made such a strong and positive impression.

We’re incredibly proud of the Clinic P team and will make sure your comments are shared with them. Recognition like this means a great deal and reminds us all of the impact that compassion, professionalism, and simple acts of kindness can have.

Thank you again, and we wish your mum all the very best with her ongoing care.

Kind regards

Kevin
