"Unsure of what to expect and left feeling supported"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Breast surgery

(as a service user),

Today I had to use the breast clinic service at RCHT.  I arrived unsure of what to expect and left feeling supported, after receiving an excellent service. From reception, to the ‘friends of’ volunteer offering tea, to the nurses, clinical imaging and the consultant, I felt cared for.

I’m one of the lucky ones who did not receive a cancer diagnosis but feel reassured that for those who do, they will be ‘held’ and well looked after.

Thank you to the whole team for all you do!

Hello Sarah120301,

My name is Chris and I am from the Patient Engagement Team. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

It is so heartening to hear that you 'left feeling supported, after receiving an excellent service' and that 'from reception, to the ‘friends of’ volunteer offering tea, to the nurses, clinical imaging and the consultant, I felt cared for'

We will ensure that your feedback is passed onto the team.

Kind regards,

Chris
