Was referred by GP for Cystoscopy test at the hospital to check out recurring UTIs. Was a bit concerned & nervous on arrival at the clinic on the day of the appointment.
Nurse Karen very quickly put me at ease and explained what the procedure would entail and why I had been referred.
Registrar Anna had a chat & further explained the procedure & possible outcomes & advised that she would be able to give me the results there & then that day.
Procedure was carried out with care & professionalism by Anna & her team of Karen & another nurse called Wendy. My outcome for this procedure was good news & I was somewhat relieved.
Whilst being referred for tests at hospital can be daunting at times, once there the staff just made the feeling of uncertainty go away. I was treated with kindness & respect throughout. Although not wishing to have to go back for further tests in the future if I have to, I would not have the same dread of having to do so.
