About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

I brought my Father-in-Law - who is in his 90s and has dementia -  to A&E as he had not passed urine for over two days.

He waited for over six yours in pain and nobody came to see him.

Thank you for sharing your experience of University Hospital Wishaw, Emergency Department.

I am sorry to hear that your Father - In - Law was unwell and had to attend ED. I am also sorry to hear that he waited for 6 hours and that no one came to see him. Unfortunately our services are under immense pressure and staff are trying to see patients as quickly as they can.

I hope that your father in law is feeling better.
