I took unwell in February and got home from hospital with the assumption that everything would be ok in a few days. This was unfortunately not the case.
I began to really struggle at home and thought I would never be normal again. My mood was very low.
This massively changed when I had a visit from the physio Danny who gave me encouragement and reassurance.
I could not believe how quickly the assistants and exercises started and allowed me to progress very quickly.
The OT Aishe quickly followed and although I was anxious that some of my support would be stopped. I am very grateful that I am able to do everything for myself.
I am not quite back to my best and I am sad that the assistants cannot last forever. I hope that if I keep eating well and doing my exercises that I will keep getting stronger.
The entire team without exception are some of the most knowledgeable, caring people I have had the pleasure to meet.
Thank-you
