I had a sudden episode of dizziness followed by feeling of light headedness and tiredness on. I went to Royal Cornwall Hospital Truro Emergency Department.
I would like to appreciate the care provided and efficiency of the staff. Right from the moment of registration to history taking, taking blood samples, constant nursing care and review by the duty doctor, it was an example of great care. Each and every staff member involved ( without exception ) was caring and pleasant.
However one staff nurse who looked after me outside the Majors Bay in the Corridor was exceptional. She was called Meg. I want to convey my thanks to her through this system. She went the extra mile to be caring and helpful. She kept checking on me regularly, tried to make sure I was comfortable and did not need any medication etc, checked timely that some bloods needed repeating and repeated those timely and also kept me informed about the whole process.
I am extremely thankful to Meg as well as rest of the staff including the duty doctor Dr. Pandey ( I think ). Truro ED indeed have a great team.
