I was blown away by how professional and friendly the team at the maxillofacial unit at NDDH were.

I was looked after by Yash, Sarah and Sammy who were absolutely incredible. Not only was the procedure carried out with expert skill and precision, but the whole team were so friendly and welcoming! They let me choose my own music during the procedure (Taylor Swift’s new album of course) and kept my mind off the procedure with regular conversation and light hearted humour.

They were fantastic at explaining what was happening and what I should expect. I felt really looked after.

All in all, I actually enjoyed the whole experience and it made me feel so lucky to have the NHS and amazing people going above and beyond every day like Yash, Sarah and Sammy. All 3 of them were amazing and are an asset to NDDH.
