About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Accident & emergency

(as a relative),

My neice was in agony lying on the floor in Accident and Emergency for 12 hours before being seen. My neice felt this was degrading.

Given morphine while in accident emergency prior to even being seen. We dont blame hospital or staff but we feel something must be done. Think this hospital is covering too large an area its unacceptable

Hi Sonny12,

I am sorry to hear that your niece did not have a good experience in the emergency department. I am glad that she received strong painkillers (morphine) during her long stay.

Please contact 01324 566116 if you require to speak with one of the senior charge nurses to discuss further and give details where we could could investigate the experience further.

Kind regards

Joanne Auld
