"Great experience at Ashtree Medical"

I had an appointment at Ashtree Medical Center in May 2025 and I was pleasantly surprised to be called in 7-8 minutes before my scheduled appointment. During my previous visits to the surgery, I've had to wait several minutes to be called in despite checking in early so it's great to see that the waiting time was significantly less. I also love the fact that I can easily contact my GP via the NHS app and the response time is super quick. Even when I request repeat prescriptions on the app, I usually get approvals on the same day. Every time I've had an appointment at the surgery with a doctor or a nurse, they're always so calm, helpful and patient. The receptionist is also friendly. Before my most recent visit to the surgery, I completed the form on the NHS app explaining my symptoms and in less than an hour, I got a response with a link to a calendar to book a time I can come for an appointment. I also requested for a follow up with a shared care and the doctor made sure to call the secretary before the appointment. I don't live as close to the surgery anymore but I chose to remain with the surgery because of the overall positive experience I've had with them for over 10 years. Great staff, good facilities, highly recommend.
