"Utterly Brilliant"

About: United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust / Lincoln-Community Diagnostic Centre

(as a service user),

Attended community diagnostic centre in Lincoln today, the referral for a CT scan was made yesterday and I was called at 9:30 for an appointment at 4pm.

I was asked to be there 10 minutes early .

Arrived in good time at the new centre, lots of on site parking a purpose built centre, all the areas are colour coded, I was in green 6.

Met a really cheerful receptionist and followed by a health care professional outside the scanner .

Really clean, lots of toilets, water dispensers and a variety of different seats to wait on.

I was all done by 5 past 4 .

Shown out by the nurse that greeted me.

Utterly brilliant 👏

Hi Chifq97

Thank you for sharing your experience! It’s fantastic to hear how efficient and well-organised the new community diagnostic centre (CDC) in Lincoln is. From a same-day appointment to a prompt, friendly service in a clean, purpose-built facility—this is exactly the kind of care we all hope for.

I will share your comments with the team - both clinical and reception. It sounds like your experience was just what we want to provide, a easily available service away from the acute hospital site and at times that patients require.

Regards

Matron Cathie
