"Huge respect for all the care given"

About: Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services – Community(County) / CAMHS Community North Team

(as a relative),

Our son has been under the care of CAMHS for a few years now, and we can hand on heart say they have been nothing short of amazing. They continue to strive to give him the absolute best care they can.

Ryan has been an absolute force to have at our side during what has been some of the toughest times we’ve faced. He has shown just how passionate he is about getting the right help for our son, he has been a fountain of knowledge and help at all times. He really is amazing.

Chloe has been so compassionate, caring and patient with our son and has built up such a good relationship with him that he feels comfortable and safe at all times when accessing CBT. She too has been nothing short of amazing.

Both Ryan and Chloe have been such a life line for our family, they have taken the time to get to know him and they treat him as they would  one of their own family members - with the right amount of care, interest, and strength to fight against the OCD. They always have his best interests at heart, and they always know what is best for him. They both are super stars, and I hope they both know just how appreciative we all are of their support.

I know our son has a lot of respect for the both of them and he appreciates their time massively.

Dear OCDmum,

Thank you so much for for your thoughtful post and kind, generous reflections of the work and input of Chloe and Ryan to your son and your family. It is so affirming to hear such glowing feedback and know of positive impact. Conditions affecting children and young people can be debilitating and hugely impactful for the individual across there whole experience and to those around them. Being able to receive the right kind of intervention is crucial to tacking the condition and moving forward. This is more than the intervention itself, as also requires the right approach, timing, and therapeutic relationship to support a positive outcome. We will pass on your post to Ryan and Chloe.

Kind regards, Carl Jones (Service Manager)
