About: North Devon District Hospital / Haematology

(as the patient),

Haematology nurse specialists’ telephone service

This isn’t about a single incident, but many incidents whilst accessing the telephone service. As a patient living with blood cancer, I have consulted the service many times about worries, symptoms, emotional, and practical issues. My calls have been answered, often with a call back, in a caring, knowledgeable and practical way with extreme patience and kindness.

Thank you for your feedback on the service that you receive from our amazing Haematology team here at North Devon District Hospital.

It is lovely to hear that despite the longevity of the support you need, due to you having to live with blood cancer you always receive the caring response that you need.

The team are amazing and their support for our patients is always with the patient at the forefront.
