(as the patient),

My thanks to Miss Patel and all the staff in her department. My journey was long, over 2 years. It all started with the frightening experience of an infection in my right eye which caused the temporary loss of vision. It took a long time to get rid of it, and then I needed cataract surgery for which Miss Patel was kind enough to put me on her list. This surgery on both eyes has now been completed very successfully and I am extremely thankful for the care and attention I received from everyone in the NHS.
